For years I had a guitar sat in the corner...
Not doing anything... and gathering dust.
I always wanted to play it... But always found excuses for other things to do.
Then one summer... I was locked inside with nothing to do.
Sure I could play video games...
Or I could stare into the abyss of my fridge...
(believe me, I did a lot of both of those)
But there's only one skill I still have with me today to remember that summer...
The guitar.
I'm now a teacher... and the lockdown got me thinking about when I first learned...
Maybe I can help someone to learn during this...
Most people have a guitar hanging around their house... But not everyone knows how to play it.
